Garden of Tiles
★★★★☆ 4.0
Garden of Tiles is the kind of thing you play to decompress. You match tiles to earn resources that grow a little garden, and watching it fill out over time is oddly rewarding. It's not reinventing anything, but the execution is clean.
The difficulty curve is gentle, which is fine — this isn't trying to be a brutal brain-teaser. Later boards introduce obstacle tiles that force you to plan a couple of moves ahead, adding just enough bite.
There's no timer pressure, which I appreciated. You can sit with a board as long as you like, and that makes it a nice thing to have open while listening to a podcast.
